SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT

I have led and been a part of numerous social media teams. I believe that storytelling matters. Finding the right story to tell + adapting that story to our audiences on each different social platform are key to an effective social media strategy.

Copy Writing

I served as the lead copywriter for then-gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams in 2022 and The Trevor Project in 2023-2024. From short and snarky quips to long-form writing, I adapt each social copy to complement the content, add depth to each story, and keep readers engaged.

Organic social video content

As social media platforms continue to prioritize video content, it's more important than ever that we tailor our content based on how our audience on each platform prefers their content to look, feel, and sound like. 

Several of the most viral content I have created were shot entirely on a phone. The more relatable the audience can feel to your content, the more likely it will perform well.

Social Strategy

I believe that every social media platform is a creative community of its own. So while messaging and the voice can stay consistent, flexibility for creative adaptation of each content is key to reach the audience we desire.

 

But perhaps the most important goal of mine when it comes to designing a social strategy is storytelling. What story can we tell and how many different ways can we tell it are the two guiding principles that defined my approach on the campaign and beyond.
